Bubble Spree was a “test game” we created to see how hard it would be to develop Mixed Reality (MR) games. The MR tech at this time was super jank, so we opted for something basic.

Essentially, you boot up the game, bubbles appear, and you start popping them. Additionally, you can switch between MR and VR modes, where we included a little environment for you to enjoy.

It’s quite fun to play around in MR, however, I’m still not sold on it unless it’s a very short experience like this one.

BTW we also had implemented co-located multiplayer in one of the first prototypes for this game, it’s much more fun, however, dealing with connectivity issues is a HUGE PAIN, esp when you’re outside in nature.
